Porcelain veneers work very well for many people, however, if your discoloration, misalignment, or gaps are severe, crowns may be the option you need to consider. Also, teeth with large restorations or fillings are not viable candidates for veneers. We will consult with you about what the best, most aesthetic, and healthy choices for you are.
What to expect
The procedure is normally done in two or three visits to Prisma Dental since there is little shaping of the teeth involved. Our veneer specialist will take a mold of the teeth requiring veneers which will immediately go to our on-site lab. While your porcelain veneers are being prepared you will have several days to relax and enjoy your time in Costa Rica before returning to Prisma Dental for your veneers to be bonded to your teeth.
