1. How
long should I plan my visit to Costa Rica for my dental
procedures?
Depending
on what dental procedures you would like to have completed,
or have been suggested to you by your current dentist,
the time here in Costa Rica could range from 5 to 14
days.
2. How
much will my dental procedure cost?
If
you have a treatment plan from your dentist, or you
know what dental procedures you would like to have completed,
we can estimate your dental procedures here at Prisma
Dental. Please contact our office via email at clinic@prismadental.com
or by telephone at 1-866-741-8194 to receive an estimate
on your dental procedures. Once you arrive here in our
office, we will discuss your dental treatments with
you during a consultation appointment prior to starting
your treatments.
3. Will
I have time to take sightseeing tours in Costa Rica
during my stay?
Of
course, we recommend all of our patients enjoy the beauty
of Costa Rica. Depending on your dental procedures,
most patients have time between dental appointments
to take tours and even go to our surrounding countries
in between their appointments. We have a tour company
that works with our office that can arrange all of your
tours either before or during your stay here in Costa
Rica.
4. How
can I pay for my dental procedures?
Payment
can be arranged for your dental procedures via cash,
traveller s checks and credit cards including VISA,
Master Card, and American Express. We can also provide
wire transfer information if you would prefer to pay
for your dental procedures directly from your bank account.
5. I
have heard that travelling outside the USA is unsafe,
how do you assist your patients in planning their trip
to Costa Rica?
Everywhere
you travel; there are certain guidelines you must abide
by in order to travel safely such as not carrying extensive
amounts of cash and no flashy jewellery. We have reliable
staff members and drivers that can schedule your transportation
needs for you to and from our facility and any other
assistance to make your stay as pleasant and as safe
as possible.
6. I
have dental insurance in the United States, can I use
this insurance to pay for my dental procedures in Costa
Rica?
Depending
on your dental insurance, some insurance companies pay
for part of your treatments performed here in our office.
We can not directly bill the insurance here in Costa
Rica but if you bring along a claim form, we can complete
them here in our office, and you can directly submit
them once you arrive back home. You will need to pay
for all of your dental procedures here and be reimbursed
by your dental insurance company.
