Dental Implant Photos: Robert from Florida

Robert is a Prisma Dental patient from Florida. I’d call him “typical” except that there is nothing typical or ordinary about the dental work Robert had in Costa Rica at the hands of Drs. Cordero and Rubinstein.

Robert had eight dental implants and 21 base metal frame crowns — a full mouth reconstruction. Here are sample before and after photos — “before” first, obviously. Click on the photo thumbnails for a larger view.

Most patients who come to Prisma Dental, of course, do not need such extensive work. But the dentists at the clinic have handled more than 300 such cases annually now, for many years. Implant work and full-mouth custom dentistry are Drs. Cordero and Rubinstein’s specialty and passion.

Really nice work, I think when implants are involved the dentist and engineers become more artists than medical professionals. That must have cost a fortune, but the long lasting results are well worth it!

Billy,

It probably didn’t cost as much as you might guess. I see by your link that you are probably from the U.K. Prisma sees many patients from the U.K. due, in part, to relatively lower costs for cosmetic dental and procedures not covered by national health care.

What was the ballpark cost of Robert’s reconstruction? How long did it take?

Hi JT,

Because each case is different, costs can vary substantially from one full-mouth reconstruction to the next depending on the work and materials involved. The dentists can give you a ballpark estimate for your own case if you like — just write to them with the details.

Generally, implant cases require two visits to Costa Rica. There is the initial implant placement, after which perhaps six months must pass before final work can be done. Prisma will work closely with you on a treatment plan from start to finish to produce the best possible results. They have handled hundreds of cases annually for many years.
