As happens occasionally, Prisma is experiencing some difficulty with telecommunications services today and patients from overseas may have difficulty connecting with us via telephone.
If you are trying to get in touch via phone we urge you to send email to Tiffany at:
clinic@prismadental.com
Thanks to all, and we expect the phone services to be working again … well, any time now.
Prisma Dental reports that they are scheduling full service appointments and major dental work for for May 2 and beyond, after the return of Drs. Rubinstein and Cordero from overseas dental conferences.
It has been a busy winter and spring at Prisma, with many U.S. patients, despite — or perhaps even because of — the global economic downturn. Those needing dental work are able to get care of the highest quality at our facilities in San Jose and save considerably over what it might have cost them at home, even with travel costs.
For those readers who don’t know, I’m Jeff Schult, the author of a book about medical tourism, and I am editor of the Prisma blog. As an aside, I wanted to say a big Hola! to my parents, who are both having dental work at Prisma this week. They called from San Jose last night — dad had five root canals and is having a bridge done … mom is prepping for a crown and also has had root canal work and whitening,
This is their second trip to Costa Rica, and I know they’re in good hands.
Prospective patients at Prisma Dental are advised that Drs. Cordero and Rubinstein will be away from April 4 — April 20, attending a dental conference in the Far East.
The dental office will be open as usual but those patients requiring the particular services of Josef and/or Telma will be scheduled for other dates.
Pura Vida to all!
